I got the blue fluted handle option and I agree it is pretty likely that this will be my favorite knife of the year. Even though it’s bigger than I usually would carry. Had some issues initially but Blaise got it all figured out quickly, no questions asked. He seems like a great guy. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.

After not even thinking of Knives and EDC ones at that.. I suddenly saw some new ones and crazy designs and said lemme do some research and replaces my old one. I was first turned off that Civivis are made in China.. but after so many positive reviews I decided on the Elementum II and then I saw the ExOne and said.. ok.. Im getting two new Knives.. lol.

I've got this in a tie with my Conspirator as my favorite Civivi (so far). Also love my Synergy 4, Sentinel Strike and Vision FG but the Conspirator and the Keen Nadder are the two knives I would keep if I were to sell my collection of Civivis. .

Just dyed the scales on my Kansept model 6. Went from white and black fat carbon to blue and black fat carbon. Looks pretty sweet now. I actually just got “regular” RIT dye, and not the synthetic, but it still worked fine. About 30 -45 seconds was all it took.

This is such an amazing knife with the perfect lock. Would love to see more availability of these. Would also love a more budget version with something like a 14C28N or 154CM with an Ultem, micarta, G10 or CF show scale. I'm not saying this knife is overpriced at all, but would love a version around $150!

this oknive version of teh KS2 multitool is almost identical to the Roxon KS2E except for the scales which are black anodized aluminum which are ab bit slippery. The Roxon KS2 Elite is better because the scale are texturized G10 which are much more confortable to handle, and the steel usde for the blade is D2 steel, and every aothe tools are in better steel too.

Finally was able to buy one. Holy hell it's good.

Update: it's been well over a year now and this is still my favorite EDC. It's just a tank and gets the job done. The grip is amazing. Love the choil. The atlas lock is perfect. I've even went out of my way to order a new custom Engage from Original Goat.

Would like to check one of these out. Have the County Comm Ultem Mini Nightshade on the way. It will be my 1st Vosteed, even though I've wanted to check them out for a while

I've got the s35vn carbon fiber mini nightshade and don't carry it because it feels CHEAPER in hand than my bugout (that i also don't carry for the same CHEAP feeling) carbon fiber is drastically overrated!

Ergos are excellent, action and sound are excellent. Reverse flick is killer. Awesome knife. The Achilles heel is thumb placement without unlocking it. Still, one of my favorites.

I don’t understand why Vosteed did this. The original was fine. I actually had some interest. These changes are lost on me. I had interest and no problem with the price with Elmax steel. Now with 154cm, even with the lower price, I have no interest at all.

Question: would certain or most knives be cheaper, and by how much, if companies went without the fancy boxes and pouches?

I have the original version of the Ankylo (same one you have). Action was very stiff out of the box. I disassembled, cleaned and oiled it which helped a bit. After several days of fidgeting with it the action is getting better but not as smooth as yours. Still a great knife but I hope the action continues to improve.

Just not a fan of the big finger choil leading into a huge lower flat spot followed by a huge raise in the handle. That's not ergonomic at all... its just not.

Need to check that one out

26:45 I recently picked up a Kershaw Livewire, and I couldn't be happier with it. Sharp, stylish, and super easy action for an OTF.

IMHO Benchmade is a company selling trash, run by idiots. There was nothing to kill. That being said, this thing is fantastic! It definitely fills the gap that benchmade was failing miserably at filling.

I own a regular mini bugoit that I got for. 80$. Love that thing to death. Can imagine spending more than 80$ so 200+ sounds outrageous. Nice showcase I’ll be checking this out in the future
